
Easy One-Pot Creamy Garlic Pasta

Ingredients
- 200g (7 oz) spaghetti or pasta of choice
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups (480ml) milk (or half milk + half cream for richness)
- 1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped parsley, chili flakes, or sautéed mushrooms
Instructions
- Sauté the Garlic
In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant (do not brown). - Add Pasta and Milk
Add the pasta and pour in the milk. Stir and bring to a gentle simmer. Cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. - Add Cheese and Seasoning
Once the pasta is al dente and most of the milk is absorbed, stir in the Parmesan. Season with salt and pepper to taste. - Serve
Garnish with parsley or chili flakes. Serve immediately while warm and creamy.
Tips
- For extra protein, add cooked chicken, shrimp, or tofu at the end.
- You can replace milk with oat milk or almond milk for a dairy-free version (skip cheese or use vegan cheese).
