
Crispy Oven-Baked Chicken Tenders

Ingredients
- 500g (1 lb) chicken breast, cut into strips
- 1 cup (100g) breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
- 1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup (60g) all-purpose flour
- Olive oil spray or cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil, and lightly grease it. - Set Up Breading Stations
- In the first bowl: add flour, salt, and pepper.
- In the second bowl: beat the eggs.
- In the third bowl: mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Bread the Chicken
Dredge each chicken strip in the flour, dip into the egg, then coat in the breadcrumb mixture. Place on the prepared baking sheet. - Bake
Spray the tops of the tenders with olive oil spray. Bake for 18–20 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy. - Serve
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces like honey mustard, ketchup, or ranch.
Tips
- For extra crispiness, broil the tenders for the last 2 minutes.
- You can marinate the chicken in buttermilk for 1 hour beforehand for added tenderness.
